Playful Papilons

I am lucky. I grew up in a family showing and loving dogs. I breed and show Papillons with my mother Sharon Newcomb. I am also a member in good standing of the Houston Area Toy Club.

Located in Solon, Iowa, Loteki (pronounced low-tea-key) Papillons has been in existence since 1978. Our online presence, however, is a new venture, making its debut in the fall of 2004. My husband, Terry, and I share our home, pictured here,  with our Papillons. For me, my involvement with dogs in general and Papillons in particular, has always been a deeply personal experience.

I had my first home bred Champion born in 1988. After that I have had a wonderful time showing and finishing the championship of many of mine and others as well. Papillon temperament makes them very versatile and they can easily obtain not only a champion title but also obedience or agility degrees.

I have been breeding Papillons for over 20 years.Our 7 Papillons are members of our family. They are not out in a kennel, but live in our home and have quite a nice life.My youngest daughters are 16 and 18 yrs old and love holding, talking and playing with the babies as does my 10 year old grandaughter.  Socialization is such an important part of a nicely rounded even tempered puppy. All puppies and dogs are sold with a health certificate and medical guarantee.

We are a small home-based breeder in upstate New York. Breeding puppies is NOT our full-time job, but it is a full-time effort! The health and well-being of our dogs and puppies is first and foremost for us. Our dogs are our family. They’re fed the best of foods, given the best veterinary care, and loved and snuggled daily.The ultimate goal of my breeding program is to produce a healthy, well socialized dog.

We are a small show kennel located near Richland, WA striving to produce Papillons who excel in type, temperament, movement, and health. We have had much success in the show ring since our beginnings in Papillons in 1995.  Our first Phalenes were imported in 1998, and were featured on Animal Planet’s “Breed All About It”.

Welcome to our website. My husband and I have always been animal lovers, and there was never a time growing up when I didn’t have at least a dog, cat, and pony or horse. I started researching, and discovered Papillons. And the rest, as they say, is “history” .While we do still have one Golden, several cats and a couple horses, after my husband, Papillons are now the true love of my life.

Here at Draco Papillons we strive to produce sound , healthy, Papillons that meet the standard. With only a few dogs, we are a small kennel producing maybe two litters a year. Genetic tests are submitted to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, INC. for their hearts, Patella’s, and eyes. When all three tests are completed our dogs receive a CHIC number from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, INC.. .

Rainbowland has 7 International Champions, one Canadian Champion, two UKC Champions and AKC pointed dogs. We enjoy showing together as a family and spending time pampering the dogs!! We are avid Papillon lovers, dedicated to raising purebred AKC Paps to share with the world. We live on a 140 acre farm in central Minnesota, which gives our Paps a great opportunity to get some exercise. Our children do a great job of playing with the puppies so that they are well socialized before our new families get them. Our Paps are part of our family and are pre-spoiled.

We are located in Billings, Montana! Crisanda Papillons was established in 1982 and has nearly 32 years of AKC champions and obedience titles to it’s credit. A small breeding program located in south eastern Montana who strives to breed papillons of quality in both mind and body.

Our goal from the start was, and still remains, to raise healthy, happy, well-tempered, affectionate puppies that are also a good representation of the breed. Our puppies are well-suited for conformation, all-around performance, and to be beloved pets.

I have been breeding and showing Papillons under the Cilloette prefix since 1977. With just a small breeding program, independent of partnerships, I bred 32 AKC champion Papillons plus a Canadian champion, Ch. Cilloette Top Secret. I also put champion titles on 6 that were not bred by me, 3 of which were English imports.  I hope to continue in my strife to perfect the breed by preserving their beauty, elegance, intelligence, wonderful outgoing temperaments, and working to keep the breed healthy and safe from harm.

We will continually improve our Papillons using only Champions and Champion bred Papillons for breedings and the use of top bloodlines. In this way we are always striving to improve the breed. We health check and only the best temperaments are used for the best in each new generation. 

Denzel is one of America’s most well-established and successful Papillon bloodlines. These wonderful dogs share the home of Tracy and Russ Burdick and their daughter, Krista.Their breeder, Tracy Halverson Burdick, has been showing and training Papillons for over 30 years, earning countless titles and awards in the show ring, including obedience and tracking.Denzel Papillons have proven their excellence in agility, obedience, and tracking. Producing dogs that can achieve success in performance competition is one of Tracy’s priorities.

I have held several positions with Papillon Association of Puget Sound, and currently I am the Vice President and historian of that club. Quality dogs are the goal of this kennel, and I am not satisfied with the ordinary. Once in awhile there will be a show prospect available to qualified homes.  All pets are sold on spay/neuter contracts or are already neutered before leaving home.

Our kennel was established in 1993, with a focus on breeding healthy Papillons with excellent temperaments. Confirmation is extremely important to us and we breed to the standards that have been set forth by AKC for the breed. We are extremely proud of our dogs.

We raise and breed quality healthy akc papillons in east Texas .

We carry all colors and health and temperament is the most important to us . We  do ofa our adults . Our papillons are part of our family and live in our home . All pups are vet checked up to date on shots and worming come with a health guarantee , microchipped and alc limited registration, and also come with puppy pack and lots of extras .

Our Papillons are raised inside the home with us, not in an outside kennel by themselves. The girls are health checked before, during and after their pregnancy. All have their eyes, heart and patellas checked before they are bred. We are very conscientious of their health and nutrition. All of our adults and puppies are AKC reg. with champion bloodlines. The pups come with a health guarantee.

We are a small kennel on the Palos Verdes Peninsula of the California coastline in Los Angeles County.  We try to breed to the Papillon Standard as set forth in the American Kennel Club.  Our dogs are treated as family pets whether they are show dogs or not.  I am a proud member of the Papillon Club of America and the Papillon Club of Southern California.    I love the breed and my dogs, I recommend them as companions whether you are a sporty person or a TV enthusiast.
