We’ve been raising Papillons since 2004 and feel we’ll always have more to learn. We’ve done some showing and really enjoy the experience of it.I have to say raising Papillons is more of an expensive hobby than a job but, they bring us so many smiles and experiences.We’re so happy to share them with you!

Here at Draco Papillons we strive to produce sound , healthy, Papillons that meet the standard. With only a few dogs, we are a small kennel producing maybe two litters a year. Genetic tests are submitted to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, INC. for their hearts, Patella’s, and eyes. When all three tests are completed our dogs receive a CHIC number from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, INC.. .
We, Linda and Grady Riley of Riley’s Papillons, are thrilled to share our Papillons with you. Our first companion Papillon came into our life 12 years ago. We thank all of you for trusting us with such wonderful Papillons and giving us a GREAT START in breeding quality show dogs. We are proud to say from our foundation stock we have bred or co-bred 24 champions. Occasionally we have show dogs, companion dogs and retired champions for placement in qualified homes to be loved and pampered.
I so enjoy showing in conformation and breeding and raising these precious little gems and I hope to continue for many years. I have been so very blessed to have a dear circle of papillon breeders who are so generous and selfless to always offer a kind and encouraging word. I wanted a sturdy, pretty small dog that was highly intelligent, easy to groom and free of numerous genetic disorders and she fit that to a tee. I started showing, Feather, in conformation and finished her AKC Championship.

Our dogs and puppies are played with daily by family members, and our farm dogs. All our puppies receive “super dog” exercises to aid them in handling stressful situations during their lifetime.We also evaluate each puppy at 8 weeks of age as to conformity, temperment, and structure. We show our dogs in ACA and APRI dog shows and Train our dogs in AKC “Canine Good Citizen” classes.

I had my first home bred Champion born in 1988. After that I have had a wonderful time showing and finishing the championship of many of mine and others as well. Papillon temperament makes them very versatile and they can easily obtain not only a champion title but also obedience or agility degrees.
My name is Jennifer Jones, and I am located in Roswell, New Mexico.I am a member of the PCA (Papillon Club of America) and a participant in the AKC Breeder of Merit Program. I strive to produce Papillons that are sound in structure and in temperament with all the frills and elegance that make the Papillon breed what it is. I strive to meet the breed standard in producing show quality puppies. I cannot keep them all, therefore, some of my show quality puppies are placed in companion homes if no show-homes take an interest.
We are a small select kennel based in San Antonio, Texas. All my dogs have CHIC numbers, all are tested and certified for Patella and Heart and are DNA tested for both PRA1 and neuroaxonal dystrophy (NAD).
We will continually improve our Papillons using only Champions and Champion bred Papillons for breedings and the use of top bloodlines. In this way we are always striving to improve the breed. We health check and only the best temperaments are used for the best in each new generation.
