Lawrence founded the Canisphere name, and was a man who dedicated his life to the animals. It was his passion. Lawrence passed away May 6 2007 at the age of 64. My goal is to carry on LA's legacy and continue to produce quality dogs, for all walks of life to enjoy. We proudly continue with Papillons of Canisphere, Canisphere German Shepherds, and we are soon going to be introducing Border Collies of Canisphere. Karen Shiels: I started in dogs in 1975 breeding American Cocker Spaniels, my love for dogs from then on grew to showing, obedience and companionship. I first started in toys 10 years ago with Pomeranians and I did quite well achieving many championships and best puppy in sweeps at the American Nationals in Louisville. But another toy breed, Papillons, caught my eye and I am now a devoted Papillon breeder and fancier.
